CAR SHOW CALENDAR

THE CLASSIC GATHERING: July through April, Lampasas, TX is the 1st Saturday of each month. Gather in the back parking lot of Storm's Drive-In. May-Oct. 7 PM Nov.-Apr. 4 PM. This is not a club, we are just a group of classic lovers & our families that gather and invite anyone who wants to show off their classic. Free family event. TEXAS VW CLASSIC: April, Ladybird Johnson Municipal Park, Fredericksburg, TX

NEW BRAUNFELS AREA CAR CLUB SWAPMEET AND CAR SHOW: April, Comal County Fairgrounds, 801 E. Common Street, New Braunfels, TX. Sherry Dawson, 830-305-4570. One of the oldest swapmeet and car show in the area. Starts on the 24th with the swapmeet and ending with the Car Show on the 26th. Open car show and entries are invited. Registration at 8 am. Free to the public. On-site parking is $5 per car and $10 for trucks with trailers. Profits used for educational scholarships. WHEELS AROUND THE SQUARE: May, Seguin, TX. May 1st we kick off the show with a Poker Run starting at Seguin Chevrolet on interstate 10 at 6:30p ending at a cruise spot "Kirby's Korner with awards for the best 3 hands. The car show is May 2, 2009 and we assemble downtown Seguin at the city square (or Central Park) We close the streets and cover the square with chairs or blankets under the pecans and enjoy cars and bikes. Registration starts at 8am and closed at 12p. Entrants voting, with special judging for separate categories: best paint, interior, engine,display, best of show,best bike and police pick "most like to chase". FUN IN THE PARK CAR SHOW: May, Goldwaite, TX. Fellowship Cruisers Car Show from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Judging begins at 12:00, Minimum 32 Awards, Club members cars will not be judged. Unfinshed class car or truck, 70% or less Pro Street Cars & trucks, best engine, best interior, best paint, best Ford, best GM, best Mopar, best Dodge. Special best of show trophy. RABBIT FEST CAR SHOW: May, Copperas Cove City Park, Copperas Cove, TX

CRIMESTOPPERS CORVETTE SHOW: June, in San Angelo, TX. Event held at All American Chevrolet on Bryant Blvd. Corvettes judged: 1953 thru 1962, 1963 thru 1967, 1968 thru 1982, 1984 thru 1996, and 1997 thru present. Only a first place category will be chosen for each category and the winner earns $100. We also have a best of show category for any General Motors vehicle (other than Corvette). That vehicle will also win $100.00. No entry fee. All proceeds of the show are basically contributions by All American Chevrolet and the proceeds from other events during the day.
