This calendar is self-managed by Entertainment Venues who enter their own live entertainment bookings to the calendar via the internet.
There is no cost to participate as an Entertainment Venue.
The public can see the Entertainment Calendar in one web location on the Portal, with a Hill Country-wide scope. Viewing access is free on the Portal web site.
This Entertainment Calendar is becoming a major business stimulus in this region. The public, for the first time, can see "what's going on", that is, who is playing and where on each day, along with the associated details (venue name, venue city, entertainer name, genre, date and time of event, cover charge, web links, contact phone & expanded live event description). This calendar should encourage greater participation by the public at these venues. The focus of this calendar is on live performances, and includes daily/nightly entertainment, shows, and productions with the entertainer/group specified and committed such that the public can expect to find them at the venue as specified on the Portal calendar.
There are business listings below the Entertainment Calendar for entertainment venues. Each business listing contains the business name, phone, postal address and hot web link, all at no charge.
Entertainers are also welcome to also submit their profile information, which we may then include as an entertainer listing on our focus page at Bands & Musicians
Festivals and major events will continue to also be presented on our separate calendar at Festivals
