Built in the late 1920's and currently being renovated, was called home by "Lucky" Charles Lindbergh during his two week stay in Camp Wood in 1924 when he dropped in on tiny town Camp Wood, Texas, for a short visit. A failed take-off attempt and minor crash kept Lindbergh in Camp Wood for the two weeks. A record of the crash into a local hardware store was preserved as a Texas Historical Marker in 1975.
